Artist Profile: Hiroshi Kai

1970           Born in Kumamoto.
1996           Graduated from Tokyo Glasswork Institute.
2000          Exhibited his works to BLÅ at The Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo and SCF.
2001           Exhibited his works to “connected” at The Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo and SCF, to “Hiroshi KaiAIRCRAFT” at Gallery TAPIO in Sapporo, and to “Swedish Glass” at Ceramic Art Center in Ebetsu.
2002           Received Incentive award at the 15th northern life industrial design competition.
2003           Exhibited his works at MÖTE at The Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo and SCF.
2004           Exhibited to MONO EXHIBITION at Utsukushigaoka Art Gallery in Sapporo.
selected his work at “Beermugrankai 5” in Sapporo Art Park.
certified as “Sapporo Style” by Sapporo City.
2005          Selected his work at “Sake no Utsuwa Exhibition” in Awara City, Fukui and also at “Kanazawa Wan one Award 2005”
2006          Selected his work at “Beermugrankai 6” in Sapporo Art Park.
2011           Exhibited his works to Glass Works 2009 at Tefukin in Sapporo.
2012           Exhibited his works to “Kitanorenga Gallery” in Obihiro.
